Our client, an International renowned pharmaceutical company is looking for:

Software Engineer
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Software Engineers are responsible for the design, development, integration, deployment, and support of tools and methods that are used across the company. Software Engineers will work with Informatics Scientists in the ICS to design and develop applications and computational tools that can be accessed and used by scientists across the company working in Drug Discovery and in the Tailored Therapeutics program.
• Software Engineers are also responsible for developing tools used in integrating data, from across all disciplines, from both internal and external sources.
• This position is for a Software Engineer within ICS, and is expected to participate significantly in the technical leadership of the group

Requirements:

• Analysis, design, and construction of systems, services, and components for data, application, and presentation integration across multiple Discovery disciplines.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in the analysis, design, and construction of modular systems comprised of object-oriented business/science components, database and persistence sub-systems, and composable presentation layers.
• Development of standards, guidelines, and best practices for data, application, and UI component integration.
• Extensive applied experience (3+ years) in object-oriented analysis and design
• Fluency in C++, Java, or C#
• Experience in design and construction of multi-threaded, distributed-computing applications using pattern-based design principles
• Applied experience in logical and physical data modeling
• Demonstrated competency in software development life cycle methods, techniques, and tools, including iterative design and development; requirements
• Candidates with Degree in Computer Science, IT, Biology, Life Science and any related fields
