Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing technical support to enhance die-casting 24 hours operation including technical support of new product start up, establish casting parameter, process control and meeting quality target. You are also required to supervise production technicians and improve the efficiency of machines and processes, for example, process down-time, die-down time, version changes and die setting. You will also contribute to the development of die-cast competencies in the soleplate factory. You are also expected to be involved in new project and start up, improvement of die design, new casting process, die modification, cycle time reduction and improvement of yield and hourly rate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years experience
- Substantial hands-on experience in related casting process and die maintenance
- Knowledge of casting technology, materials and high pressure casting process
