Responsibilities:
- Solicits quotations to specifications and drawings from engineering and analyzes bid commercially
- Makes purchase decisions based on price, delivery and suitability of vendor
- Prepares bid tabulations and obtains engineering approval
- Summarizes, prepares, checks and initials purchase orders and supplements
- Assists expeditors and engineers where commercial monetary inducement pressure is deemed advisable
- Confirms acceptability of suppliers' invoices
- Negotiates major supply contracts with bidders and change orders with vendors to ensure most economic conditions, consistent with high quality and reliable delivery, are obtained
- Assists in maintaining good relations with suppliers and information on market trends
- Evaluates escalation of prices and approves these escalations when applicable
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma holder
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in engineering materials/equipment purchasing
- Preferably working experience with engineering company or EPC contractor
Responsibilities:
1. Assists the IT Internal Controls Manager in identifying, documenting and testing of Internal Controls for IT, reporting and follow up on non compliances.
2. Assists the IT Internal Controls Manager, to effectively communicate to management all issues and deficiencies identified, along with proposed remediation plans.
3. Assists the IT Internal Controls Manager, to identify and evaluate any additional significant controls needing to be designed, within established internal controls standards.
4. Performs and follows up on quarterly Sarbanes Oxley 302 assessments under direction from the IT Internal Controls Manager.
5. Assists with ongoing documentation and testing requirements of IT systems and processes under Section 302 and Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
6. Design and document required controls as and where required, for management review and approval.
7. Assists the IT Internal Controls Manager, to coordinate/ liaise on walkthroughs and testing by the independent auditors, to assist in ensuring that the external audit process is efficient, effective and well communicated.
8. Perform special projects and investigations as necessary.
9. Maintain appropriate level of knowledge on related technical matters, including SEC announcements and changes in related regulations, developments in area of specialization.
10. Ability to travel internationally at least twice a year, duration of travel can be from a few days to several weeks for each travel event.
11. Flexibility of work hours when needed to meet audit delivery timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business is desirable
- Min. 5 yrs experience in IT including operations and development
- 3-6 years Internal Audit experience preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
- Information Technology (IT) technical skills with related audit knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of COSO, CobIT, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
- CISA or CISM certification or proof of current activity toward achieving the certification
- CPA and/or CIA certification is a plus
- Good oral and communication skills
Responsibilities:
1. Maintains records of all project material requirements.
2. Establishes with project coordination, the date on which the material will be required on the construction site.
3. Reviews requisitions and coordinates the procurement of material with the Purchasing Department.
4. Visits suppliers as necessary to confirm they can meet scheduled delivery.
5. Coordinates with expeditors to ensure that vendors meet delivery dates as scheduled.
6. Ensures that material status data is entered into the on-line material tracking system.
7. Responds to material status telexes sent from field areas and prepares specific status reports as requested.
8. Monitors traffic to ensure that material received is promptly checked, packaged, shipped and documented and that the field areas are notified of material in transit.
9. Confirms actual receipt of material in field.

- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in the construction / manufacturing industry
