Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work as a member of the Refinery and Chemical Plant to operate plant machinery equipment and troubleshoot plant/equipment issues. Your role will include tankage logistics operation, involving product blending and shipping operations; planning and preparing equipment for routine mechanical activities; and performing routine equipment checks for detecting abnormalities to ensure optimum operations.
The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive technician Development Program where you will be trained systematically to be proficient in job knowledge and job-related skills to progress up the Technician career ladder.
Requirements:
- A Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology; or a National Institute of Technical Education Certificate (NITEC) in Chemical Process Technology
- Applicants with any Engineering Diploma are also invited to apply
- Must be prepared to work on shifts
- A team player with the ability to communicate well
- Some work experience in the petrochemical industry will be an advantage
- Fresh graduates who have completed their National Service are invited to apply
